Hello my loves.
I am now back from my travels in India and almost settled in again.
Whilst there i did indulge in shopping as any girl would and found that the fashion and street style in Mumbai has evolved so much from the last time i was there.
From long flowy jackets, to high waisted trousers, short ankle length jeans, un- hemmed pants, everything was chic and stylish.
I love to watch people go about their business and what they wear. Its a hobby.
Tees were replaced by long cotton or linen kurtas, crop tops were all over and cool shades and patterns were all screaming summer.
Evenings were humid and hot, short summer dresses, sling bags and sparkly clutches set the scene.
I particularly had never worn crop tops and high waisted anything and always stayed away from these as i felt it didn’t quite fit my style and body shape and height.
But, seeing so many of them around i dared to embrace this trend and was pleasantly surprised by how much i actually liked it on me.
I better keep those abs flat! No one wants to wear a crop top and have all the love pouring out right?
For an evening of fun and fashion in Nairobi upon my return, i decided on a beautiful navy guipure lace high waisted suit.
Beautiful type of bobbin lace all around made this navy number even more special.
I kept it simple with minimal accessories, a silver clutch and blue black heels.
I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone with this one but i loved it!.
Here is the look, i hope you enjoy it.
Keep it fashionable, keep it stylish.
Love always x
